We woke up this morning at 5:45am, no not on purpose, to an awesome thunder and lightning storm! I LOVE thunder storms!!!! It was soooo loud and sooooo bright and no one here had anything to say about it, so I'm thinking that it only gets better. Hooray for Iowa!

I think Iowa is kinda close to Ohio, right? Anyways, growing up in Ohio as a kid I remember the thunder and lightening and I remember being SO scared. It didn't help that someone in our ward's house got struck my lightening and caught on fire. It was the only thing I thought about during storms as a child! (who tells children stories like that?!?)
as an adult I have grown to love them more. I loved going to sleep in my dark room to a good Oklahoma lightening storm!

As far as the storms, that would scare me to death!!!!
that would freak my kids out BIG TIME!!! We had a big wind "storm" this afternoon and they were so NERVOUS I had to put them in the basement with a movie. They thought a tornado was on us!
